Creating steps to change your world
Most communities and workplaces are looking for a change, but seem to struggle to find ways to achieve so. Dancing together is one of the answers to it, and it is regaining popularity everywhere.
Dancing is poetry in action. It activates ourselves, boosts self-confidence, embraces diversity, develops consciousness, free flow of movement and musicality.
Worries, problems and concerns dissolve with the music, but the real beauty of it lies in the learning to trust and follow, and in finding balance together. How does that happen? We keep our minds focused and "busy" with good music and one another. The result? It brings everyday problems to a halt and lifts our spirits and vibes.
Agents of Dance promote skills that cater for the greater good, educate people to master their bodies and minds, and incite mindfulness of issues that keep people disconnected from their true selves. It is hard to believe how achievable learning to lead others actually is. Besides leadership, the project sheds light on some of the most current in-demand skills: creativity, adaptability, collaboration, spatial awareness, and timing.
The conceptualiser of the project, Frederico Ramanzini, combined his background in language studies and project management with music. In late 2015 he defined the core values that direct the projects: love, respect, integrity and harmony.
He relocated to the Margaret River region from Perth and started pushing for the dance movement then. He was warmly welcomed by the Dunsborough group that was forming and from then on, travelled Australia, Brazil, Europe & Asia spreading seeds of his current project.
The feedback has been extraordinary: people feel empowered, heart warmed, more confident in social gatherings, and have seen new relationships formed. This means one of the goals of this project has already been achieved: Agents of Dance come to support the strengthening of bonds amongst members of communities.
